THE FLORA OF THE BINN VALLEY

The flora of the Binn Valley is by all means rich, as is the flora of many other alpine valleys. This is promoted by the varied geological underground and the central position within the alpine massif. Hence, plants with a western, eastern and southern alpine prevalence are to be found here. At the same time, many species, which are especially known from Zermatt and the Simplon area, are to be found in the Binn Valley.
